Framed uses self-portraits taken in the studio and comments written on the back of picture frames to illustrate issues and inequalities that still effect queer Australians. Some of these issues in include: blood donations, adoption, safe schools program, queer history and marriage equality. The work responds to the conceptual framework of Queer Theory and frames it specifically within an Australian context.
